David is a graduate of the Emory School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Michigan Family Medicine Residency Program in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He also completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Emory College with high honors with a BS in Biology and a BA in English and is also a member of the National English Honor Society. He has had a lifelong interest in health and wellness and is fascinated by the biology/physiology of exercise. He decided to become a doctor and started his journey with a degree in public health, then medical school, residency, and fellowship.

During his training it became very apparent that most of his work was focused on the treatment of disease, not the celebration of health. As such, he wanted to find a place where he could focus on the wellness aspects of medicine.

David enjoys exercising and loves to use technology to track his progress. He also likes to play the guitar and drums. When he is not exercising, he enjoys reading or participating in online courses to learn something new.
