Joe earned his BA in History and International Relations at Gonzaga University, and his MSN in Advanced Community/Public Health Nursing and his post-master’s certificate as a family nurse practitioner at Seattle University. Joe has broad experience across multiple health centers, including the Country Doctor Community Health Centers and Seattle-King County Public Health. He has also spent time as an adjunct professor at Seattle University’s College of Nursing and St. Martin’s School of Nursing.
During Joe’s formative years, his heart was set on public health and policy, but after spending time working in Guatemala and the Dominican Republic, his goals shifted. He still has a passion for public health, but enjoys his work most when he’s interacting on a personal level with individuals and families.
When not delivering great care at Vera, Joe enjoys being outdoors, spending time with his family, and taking a good walk or run (picking up garbage along the way).
